Establishes special prestige license plates for high schools and a "blackout" plate for law enforcement.
Louisiana HB506 creates special prestige license plates for several high schools and a "blackout" plate for law enforcement. The "blackout" plate requires a minimum of 1,000 applicants and displays white alpha-numeric series on a black background with a blue line symbolizing fallen officers. It applies to passenger cars, pickup trucks, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, and vans. The bill also adds new high schools to the list for special prestige plates.
