HB482 amends the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) by modifying initial and continuing eligibility criteria for the TOPS-Tech award. Students must meet at least two of the following: a minimum grade point average, a minimum ACT score, and at least nine credit hours of early college credit. The bill also allows students to defer their award acceptance while retaining eligibility if they enroll in an LCTCS college before turning 25.
