Louisiana HB474 creates an individual income tax checkoff for donations to the Grambling University National Alumni Association.

HB474 establishes a mechanism for Louisiana taxpayers to donate all or part of their income tax refunds to the Grambling University National Alumni Association. Effective from tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2027, individuals filing their state income tax returns can opt to contribute their refunds to the association. The designated amount will be deducted from the refund, and the funds will be managed by the Secretary of the Department of Revenue and distributed to the Grambling University National Alumni Association.
