Louisiana HB448 amends existing law to allow scholarships for firefighters injured in the line of duty and their spouses to cover postgraduate degrees. Currently, these scholarships cover only undergraduate degrees. The scholarships will cover all tuition and fees, and recipients must meet entrance requirements and maintain a "C" average. The bill does not change the requirement for recipients to meet entrance requirements or maintain a "C" average.
