Louisiana HB442 amends the election sections for the family court judgeship in East Baton Rouge Parish. The family court will consist of three election sections. Election section one includes specific precincts, election section two includes other specific precincts, and election section three includes yet other specific precincts. One judge is elected from each section, with two judges elected from the third section. The changes take effect upon the governor's signature or if the bill becomes law without the governor's signature.
