Louisiana HB421 establishes rules for employers using automated decision systems (ADS) in employment decisions. Employers must provide written notice to workers or their representatives when ADS are used for decisions, excluding hiring. Employers cannot use ADS for hiring, promotions, or significant work duty changes. Employers must allow workers to access and correct their data used by ADS.
