Louisiana HB364 requires police departments to provide public awareness about the dangers and criminal penalties associated with discharging firearms into the air. The Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of state police, will conduct public safety messaging, including public service announcements, information kits, and promotion of relevant hotlines. These activities will be disseminated from May 15th to July 5th and from November 15th to January 1st each year.
