This bill removes Evangeline Parish from the Acadiana Regional Juvenile Justice District, reducing the number of commissioners from 11 to 10. Evangeline Parish's commissioner, appointed by the chief judge, district attorney, and sheriff, will no longer serve on the commission. The Acadiana Regional Juvenile Justice District includes the parishes of Acadia, Allen, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion.
