Louisiana HB328 prohibits carrying firearms in college or university dormitories.

Louisiana HB328 amends existing law to prohibit the possession of firearms in college or university dormitories. Exceptions include carrying a firearm to or from a class that requires its use and activities authorized by the university. The bill removes dormitory rooms as an exception to the crime of carrying a firearm or dangerous weapon on school property, at school-sponsored functions, or in a firearm-free zone.
