Louisiana HB324 enacts salary increases for judges of the Louisiana Supreme Court, courts of appeal, district courts, city courts, and parish courts. Effective July 1, 2026, salaries will increase by 2.1%, contingent on approval by the Louisiana Supreme Court and the Louisiana Judicial Budgetary Control Board, who must determine sufficient funding. For 2027, salaries will increase by 2.7%, also subject to the same conditions. The bill terminates a supplement on June 30, 2026, but continues it as a cost of living adjustment.
