HB278 establishes rules for live streaming family court proceedings in East Baton Rouge Parish, ensuring public access to all court proceedings and status conferences by January 1, 2027. The law mandates that custody hearings cannot be closed to the public unless the judge finds good cause and all parties agree in writing.
