HB260

Louisiana HB260 allows legislators to accept complimentary transportation to foreign countries for trade, cultural, diplomatic, educational, or.

Louisiana HB260 amends existing law to authorize legislators to accept reasonable transportation to foreign countries if the travel is organized for trade, cultural, diplomatic, educational, or humanitarian purposes and sponsored by the government of the foreign country or a civic, nonprofit, educational, or political organization. This change expands the current definition of "reasonable transportation" for legislators to include international travel under specific conditions.
