Louisiana HB230 mandates disclosure of artificial intelligence-generated content.

HB230 requires any artificial intelligence system producing images, videos, audio, or multimedia to clearly disclose that the content is generated by artificial intelligence. A violation of this requirement is considered a deceptive and unfair trade practice, subjecting the violator to a civil fine of up to $10,000 per violation, enforceable by the attorney general through a civil enforcement action.
