Louisiana HB147 adds mail theft and unauthorized reproduction of a mail receptacle key or lock to the definition of racketeering activity.

Louisiana HB147 enacts R.S. 15:1352(A)(89) and (90) to define "racketeering activity" as including mail theft and unauthorized reproduction of a mail receptacle key or lock. This bill provides for additional crimes that are elements of racketeering activity and directs the Louisiana State Law Institute to renumber the paragraphs of R.S. 15:1352(A) accordingly.
