Louisiana HB124 amends the membership of the Domestic Violence Prevention Commission. It allows for a current or former district court judge with experience in criminal law or family law matters to serve on the commission, selected by the president of the Louisiana District Court Judges Association. The bill removes the representative of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from the commission.
