Louisiana HB1184 restricts state and local entities from entering into public contracts for artificial intelligence technology, software, or products with vendors owned or controlled by designated foreign adversaries. Effective July 1, 2027, these entities must ensure that vendors provide an affidavit attesting they are not owned by, controlled by, organized under the laws of, or have their principal place of business in countries of concern.
