Permits the use of airboats in the Maurepas Swamp Wildlife Management Area.
HB1171 authorizes the use of airboats within the Maurepas Swamp Wildlife Management Area. The bill repeals the previous law that terminated in 2019, which had allowed airboats on designated trails and included rules and regulations for their use. The new law simplifies the regulations by permitting the use of airboats throughout the area.
