Louisiana HB1099 prohibits certain actions for damages from aerospace activities.

Louisiana HB1099 prohibits injunctive relief that would delay, restrict, modify, or prohibit aerospace flight activities. It defines "aerospace flight activities" and "aerospace flight entity." Claims seeking damages for interference with property use, emotional distress, or diminution in property value from aerospace activities are barred. Reciprocal waivers of claims between parties under federal law are enforceable. Aerospace flight entities are presumed to act lawfully if in compliance with federal, state, and local licenses, permits, or authorizations.
