Authorizes charter schools to give enrollment preference to kindergarten students who attended certain licensed early learning centers.

Louisiana HB1079 authorizes charter schools to give enrollment preference to entering kindergarten students who attended a licensed early learning center operated by the charter school or a licensed early learning center not operated by the charter school, provided the student attended the center for at least 75 days. This preference applies to students who are eligible under the residency requirements established in the charter.
