HB302

Louisiana HB302 prohibits the sale of vapor products within 300 feet of schools.

Louisiana HB302 enacts R.S. 26:902.1, prohibiting the sale of vapor products within 300 feet of schools. Vapor products include electronic cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, and similar devices, along with nicotine containers intended for use with these devices. The law retains existing provisions for retail dealer permits and renewals for vapor products. The commissioner can adopt an alternate method of measurement for the 300-foot limitation, which applies only to new permits issued after the adoption date.
