Encourages the establishment of a task force to study fatherhood and father engagement in Kentucky.

The resolution encourages the creation of the Fatherhood and Family Engagement Task Force to study the impacts of father absence and develop recommendations to strengthen families. The task force will examine the social, economic, educational, and public safety impacts of father absence, the current state of father engagement, and barriers to father involvement. It will also explore opportunities to improve father engagement and best practices from other states. The task force will submit findings and recommendations to the Legislative Research Commission by December 1, 2026.
