SB329 amends Kentucky law to allow the Attorney General to appeal support orders deemed erroneous.

SB329 modifies Kentucky law to enable the Attorney General to appeal support orders that are considered erroneous and involve a legal question in the public interest. The Attorney General can appeal to the appropriate appellate court in Kentucky if the order was issued by a Kentucky court, or initiate an appeal in another state if the order was issued elsewhere. The expenses of such appeals can be covered by the Attorney General using funds allocated to his or her office.
