Amends mining reclamation regulations for clay mining.
Amends the Kentucky Revised Statutes to allow the Energy and Environment Cabinet to adopt regulations for the reclamation of land disturbed or removed in the mining of clay. Regulations must encourage water impoundments and follow the Interstate Mining Compact standards. The cabinet can adopt these regulations regardless of Kentucky's membership status in the Interstate Mining Compact.
