SB246 amends Kentucky's agriculture laws by authorizing the Commissioner of Agriculture to collect, compromise, adjust, or cancel claims and obligations related to agricultural activities. The Commissioner is also empowered to operate or lease agricultural property, sell it, and bid on or purchase property with liens. This authority can be delegated to the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States for funds and assets transferred under Kentucky law.
