Kentucky SB161 amends several sections of the Kentucky Revised Statutes to protect employees' rights to collective bargaining and prohibit certain employer actions. It allows employees to organize, join, and participate in lawful activities for collective bargaining. Employers and labor organizations are prohibited from interfering with employees' rights to organize and from discriminating against employees for their union activities. The bill also mandates that labor organizations maintain and provide access to financial records.
