Reestablishes the Disaster Prevention and Resiliency Task Force to study disaster preparedness and resilience in Kentucky.

The Disaster Prevention and Resiliency Task Force will study disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, recovery, risk assessment, and infrastructure resilience in Kentucky. The task force will review publications, hear testimony from experts and citizens, assess data sources, and explore governance structures. It will submit findings and recommendations to the Legislative Research Commission by December 1, 2026. The task force will meet monthly during the 2026 Interim of the General Assembly.
