The bill establishes the Cemeteries Across Kentucky Task Force to review and recommend solutions for abandoned cemeteries in Kentucky. The task force will survey the number of abandoned cemeteries, review related laws and policies, and consider actions to address the issue. The task force will submit findings to the Legislative Research Commission by December 1, 2026. The task force will meet monthly during the 2026 Interim of the General Assembly.
