The resolution establishes the Infant Mortality Task Force to review factors influencing infant mortality and make recommendations to decrease the rate in Kentucky. The task force will review research, comprehensive data on infant mortality, and women's maternity experiences. It will make recommendations to the Legislative Research Commission and other relevant agencies, including improving health care and social, economic, and environmental conditions. The task force will meet monthly during the 2026 Interim of the General Assembly.
