HB902 declares an emergency and appropriates funds for a one-time supplemental payment to retired state employees in Kentucky. Recipients of a monthly retirement allowance from the Kentucky Employees Retirement System or State Police Retirement System who have been retired for at least 15 years will receive this payment. The payment is added to their July 2026 retirement allowance and is equal to their June 2026 monthly allowance, not exceeding $1,000 per recipient.
