Establishes a fund for volunteer fire departments to cover emergency medical expenses.

The bill creates a trust and agency account in the State Treasury called the volunteer fire department emergency medical expenses fund. This fund will receive moneys from grants, gifts, state appropriations, and federal funds. The Kentucky Fire Commission will administer the fund, which can be used exclusively for purchasing emergency medical supplies, devices, or equipment, and for reimbursing costs related to replacing used supplies and training for volunteer fire department members. The commission will distribute the funds equitably.
