Kentucky HB747 amends the Commissioner of Agriculture's authority to manage claims and property related to agricultural loans.

Kentucky HB747 amends the Commissioner of Agriculture's authority to manage claims and property related to agricultural loans. The Commissioner is now empowered to collect, compromise, adjust, or cancel claims and obligations arising from agricultural loans. The bill also authorizes the Commissioner to bid for and purchase property at foreclosure sales or other sales, and to accept title to any property. This authority can be delegated to the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States.
