Bill Text

Kentucky HB706 amends compensation for Council on Postsecondary Education members.

Kentucky HB706 modifies the compensation for members of the Council on Postsecondary Education. It sets a daily allowance of $100 for each council meeting attended and mandates reimbursement for necessary travel and other expenses while attending council meetings. Members residing outside Kentucky are not eligible for out-of-state travel reimbursement. Each institution must cover the expenses of its own representatives, and the state will pay the expenses of the chief state school officer in the same manner as other travel expenses.
