Kentucky HB705 amends the Kentucky Revised Statutes to change the allowances and reimbursements for members of the Council on Postsecondary Education. Members will receive $100 per day for each council meeting attended and will be reimbursed for necessary travel and other expenses while attending council meetings. Members residing outside the Commonwealth will not be reimbursed for travel expenses. Each institution will cover the expenses of its own representatives, and the state will cover the expenses of the chief state school officer in the same manner as other traveling expenses.
