Kentucky HB553 prohibits state and local government funds from covering gender transition services.

Kentucky HB553 amends state law to prohibit state and local government funds from reimbursing or providing benefits or coverage for gender transition services. This includes health plans offered or sponsored by state or local governments and health plans providing Medicare benefits that are publicly funded or subsidized.
