Allows Kentucky state employees to purchase firearms issued to them during employment.

Kentucky HB483 allows state employees to buy firearms issued to them during employment. The bill permits agencies to sell replaced firearms to employees and mandates agencies to inform employees of firearm replacements and the option to purchase. Proceeds from firearm sales are to be used for purchasing replacement firearms. Unpurchased firearms are to be disposed of according to state law.
