Bill Text

Military-connected individuals in Kentucky receive tuition waivers at state-supported institutions.

Kentucky HB351 amends state law to provide tuition waivers for military-connected individuals at state-supported universities, junior colleges, and vocational training institutes. Eligible individuals include spouses and children of deceased veterans, those with a parent or spouse who served in the Armed Forces, and those with a parent or spouse who died while on active duty. The waivers apply to matriculation and tuition fees, with the amount not exceeding the cost of tuition and mandatory fees minus any federal grants received.
