Kentucky HB35 establishes the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship Program and the Dual Credit Scholarship Program.

Kentucky HB35 establishes the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship Program to provide scholarships to Kentuckians without postsecondary degrees. The program is administered by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority. Scholarships are awarded to eligible students attending accredited institutions offering industry-recognized credentials. The Dual Credit Scholarship Program, also administered by the authority, provides scholarships to high school students for dual credit courses at no cost. Both programs have specific eligibility criteria and funding sources.
