HB323

Kentucky HB323 regulates public agencies' social media conduct and restricts political content in official school communications.

Kentucky HB323 mandates that public agencies and individuals acting on their behalf cannot disable comments, delete comments, block commenters, or otherwise restrict free engagement on social media posts related to government business. It also prohibits public schools and school districts from restricting lawful public commentary on official communications about political topics. Public agencies can remove comments if they are libelous, obscene, harassing, or pose an imminent threat.
