Kentucky HB283 creates a new section in KRS Chapter 39G, establishing procedures for the Kentucky Intelligence Fusion Center to review and report on transactions between foreign enterprises and residents of the Commonwealth. The center must meet with the Legislative Oversight and Investigations Committee at least twice a year to discuss findings that could compromise the Commonwealth's economic security. Meetings and records produced during these discussions are exempt from the Kentucky Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act.
