Kentucky HB260 provides annual salary supplements for nationally certified school social workers and school psychologists.
Kentucky HB260 creates a new section in KRS Chapter 157 to provide annual salary supplements for school social workers and school psychologists who hold active national certifications. If funds are appropriated by the General Assembly, local boards of education must provide these supplements. The amount equals that provided to teachers with National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification. If insufficient funds are appropriated, the Department of Education reduces supplements proportionately.
