Kentucky HB252 amends the Kentucky Employees Retirement System to establish a medical insurance reimbursement plan for retirees. The board of trustees shall provide reimbursement for hospital and medical insurance plan premiums of retirees who are not eligible for the same level of benefits as recipients living in Kentucky and having the same Medicare eligibility status. The board may also provide reimbursement for retirees eligible for retiree health subsidies, except for those eligible for full premium subsidies.
