Kentucky HB206 amends the Kentucky Building Code to allow buildings with fewer than six stories of residential occupancy to be served by a single exit if specific conditions are met. These conditions include limiting the building to no more than six stories above grade plane and no more than four dwelling units, ensuring a maximum travel distance of 125 feet to the exit stairway, and preventing other occupancies from accessing the residential portion of the building.
