Kentucky HB205 allows multi-unit dwellings and mixed-use developments in commercial zones.

Kentucky HB205 amends planning and zoning laws to permit multi-unit dwellings and mixed-use developments in all commercial zones. The bill defines "multi-unit dwelling" as a structure with more than two separate dwelling units, each with its own entrance. "Mixed-use development" is defined as a development with residential and nonresidential uses, where nonresidential uses do not exceed 50% of the total square footage and are limited to the first floor.
