Kansas SB522, known as the Kansas Medical Freedom Act, prohibits private and governmental entities from denying, restricting, or penalizing access to services, products, venues, or transportation based on an individual's use or nonuse of medical interventions. This includes prohibiting entities from requiring medical interventions for employment, participation in educational or public events, or access to government services. The act allows for personal protective equipment requirements if consistent with safety regulations and non-discriminatory.
