Introduced·2/16/26
Introduced Text

Kansas SB510 mandates monthly transfer of interest earnings to the parks fee fund.

Kansas SB510 amends the state's parks fee fund regulations, requiring the transfer of interest earnings to the fund each month. The fund, created by this act, receives moneys from state park permit fees, tolls, rentals, and other related sources. The interest earnings are calculated based on the average daily balance and the net earnings rate of the pooled money investment portfolio. All expenditures from this fund must align with appropriations acts and are subject to vouchers approved by the secretary. The act also repeals existing sections related to the parks fee fund.
