Increases the cap on state funds disbursed to conservation districts and changes the matching basis for state and county funds.

This bill increases the cap on the amount of moneys disbursed by the division of conservation to conservation districts from $25,000 to $50,000 per district. It also changes the matching basis for state and county funds to a $2 state moneys to $1 county moneys ratio. The division shall disburse funds as may be appropriated by the state, subject to the new matching requirements. Municipal accounting procedures shall be used in the distribution and expenditure of all funds. The bill amends and repeals existing sections of the Kansas Statutes Annotated.
