SB333

Kansas SB333 prohibits the use of fluoride additives in public water supplies.

Kansas SB333 amends state statutes to prohibit the use of fluoride additives in public water supplies. The bill mandates that any decision to fluoridate a public water supply must be approved by a majority vote of the electors in a regular election. It also prohibits the use of fluoride additives unless a petition signed by at least five percent of the registered voters in the district is filed with the water district board, and the proposition is then submitted to a vote.
