Establishes a court date reminder program for criminal cases and infractions.
Requires the supreme court to develop or procure a court date reminder program to send advance notifications to individuals with scheduled court dates for criminal cases or infractions. All courts must use this program to send notifications by text message, email, or phone call. Individuals can update their contact information and opt out of text notifications. The program will send notifications seven and one day before the court date, and additional notifications may be sent at the court's discretion. Refusal to provide a telephone number will not be held against the individual.
