Kansas HB2722 amends the Kansas Uniform Trust Code to specify that certain resultant trusts are not subject to claims by the settlor's creditors. This includes irrevocable trusts funded by the exercise of a power of appointment by the settlor's spouse in an irrevocable trust. The bill also repeals the existing section K.S.A. 58a-505 and replaces it with new provisions. The changes take effect upon publication in the statute book.
