Establishes the Department of Corrections Peer Support Fund and transfers $500,000 from the state general fund to support peer support programs for.

The bill establishes the Department of Corrections Peer Support Fund to support mental health, wellness, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention among Department of Corrections employees. The fund will be used for training peer support team members, program materials, equipment, travel expenses, staffing costs, and other necessary expenses. The Secretary of Corrections will administer the fund and may adopt rules and regulations as needed.
